  4. In this list of programs, find and navigate to Avast Antivirus.

  6. Select ‘Change’ from that option.
  7. This will open an Avast setup page, with a couple of options. Select ‘Change’ again.
  8. This will land you on a settings panel of Avast. Find the option of the SafeZone browser.

  2. When you start the installation process of Avast, don’t use the express settings option.
  3. On the setup page, go to the customization option directly.

  5. Locate the Avast SafeZone browser entry in the list and disable it.
  6. Similarly, you can uncheck any unwanted entries like Mail shield, etc.
  7. Then continue the installation normally.
  8. This will prevent the Avast SafeZone browser to be installed on your machine.

Just setting the default browser as Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Firefox or Chrome will not remove the SafeZone browser.
